This bag's contents are all about staying fresh and fired-up, inside and out. Whether its writing down your daily tasks or knocking back some detox elixir, staying energized within is as important as having statement making nails.
Trending now is bucket bags. (Apologies for the title, just finished season 2 of OITNB) Anyways, BUCKET BAGS. They're adorable, can fit everything, and have been found especially for you. Take a peek below for the best of the best in an array of different prices. I just ordered the white version of the Old Navy one, because only bougie people can afford white leather designer bags. So for now I rock the Old Navy version (pictured above with my Sam Edelman Circus sandals and my printed Leith by Nordstrom trousers), but tbh, the bag looks even nicer in person than the picture. Soul Cycle isn't just some ordinary work out at your local gym. Soul Cycle is indoor cycling re-invented. And what they have managed to do, is make it absolutely adorable. Marketing bravo. Take a peek at the website and learn a little more about the practice (which yes I'm addicted to) but then take a look at the shop too! Below are a few of my fav tops from their collection. If it's not the chic, European tourist strolling through Soho on a Tuesday afternoon, it's the athlete-model who casually throws her outfit together after she has just kicked your ass in Soul Cycle. Everyone's got a LBS. The Little Black Sneaker is a trend that finally gives fashionistas a break in this high-heeled, tight leather sandaled world we know as New York City. We've always known that boyfriend jeans go perfectly with hoodies, and sneakers go great with sweatpants, but we have never been able to wear them out on the street or call them fashionable. Now is our time ladies. If the sneaker-chic trend is something you have yet to grab ahold of, take a look at the following Nike sneaks. Different styles for different sneaker-chic moments provide the perfect guide to finding your your LBS's. The Blazer Mids are a classic Nike throw back, and these special edition textile pair is a hot find for the sneaker-chic game. There are the high-heeled SkyHigh Dunks that add just a little more hight and power to the sneaker-chic look. Next there are the Roshe runs, so incredibly comfortable and just raised enough that they provide support and these monochromatic styled Roshes add an extra pop of style to a sneaker casual outfit. Lastly the Flyknit trainers feel like slippers and wrap around your foot providing a slimming and comfortable street wear look. So fear not the sneaker chic look. And if you don't have your pair of LBSs yet, I'd suggest clicking the links below and getting on it. This week's bag contents are all about moisture. Sometimes Hump Day requires a shake to the routine. I took mine this morning at Van Leeuwan's ice cream shop on East 7th Street and 2nd Ave. If you're looking for a break from the freeze-dried Starbucks pastries, and the watered down Dunkin' Iced Coffee, you are ready for Van Leeuwans. Famous for their ice cream and even more so for their Ice Cream Truck that dots the trendiest areas of NYC, they offer not only homemade, vegan, and all natural ice creams, but their menu also included freshly baked pastries from scones to croissants, and cold-brew Toby's Estate coffee, which is made locally in Brooklyn. I enjoyed an iced-coffee and a crispy croissant while planning out the rest of my week. What will you be having on your next morning get-away?
We're having a Fashion Monday moment today, and it is all about ex-boyfriend jeans. Ex-boyfriend jeans are the ones that look like you ripped them up in an angry rage when they finally pissed you off to the point of no return, and then you looked at the jeans, tilted your head, and went, wait... these are cute! Now that sneakers are chic, so are ex-boyfriend or boyfriend jeans. I just can't wait until footie-pajamas make it to the top of the trends. But until then boyfriend jeans work fine. They're perfect for a casual brunch or afternoon date, but can be dressed up for a work day or a date night. Throw on some strappy sandal heels and boyfriend jeans go from comfy to sexy in an instant. Throw on some flat sandals and keep it casual chic for the office. Pictured above are the KUT Catherine Boyfriend Jeans. See below for the Fashion Farmers little black book of the best distressed boyfriend jeans. A cellphone case speaks a thousand words. Especially these ones. Take a look at the most statement-making and creative phone cases out there. From designer to decorative art, protective to adorable, these rubber, metal, and plastic beauties will surely make you the talk of the town. Finally, someone kicks the Keep Calm and Carry On trend to the curb (thank GOD) and produces this. Received this absolutely incredible tank from Stylestalker earlier today, and suddenly everything was right in the world. The site offers screen tees and tanks like this one, as well as an exciting and trendy mix of separates and dresses perfect for the dressy day look that blends seamlessly into night. I love the site especially because of their personal touches, like this majorly personal note included in my pre-order. I guess being a committed Beyoncé fan has its perks. Head on over and take a look yourself. Happy Shopping!
