EAT
This is a suggestion for that Sunday morning (more like afternoon) when you wake up and suddenly its 1pm. Where will you be heading? Dim Sum at Jing Fong. With the most grandiose entry way (yes you take an escalator up to the main dining room), grab a crew of your friends and pay no more than $10 for a meal that will keep you full until the next day. One of the best Dim Sums I've ever had. And if you're lucky, you will get to sit next to a charming (often times huge) family at your same time. *Tip: Try to get there a bit earlier than 12pm, or else you'll have to wait 30 minutes or so.
BUY
I'm on a serious matching separates kick. Every store I walk into I demand where they can be found, yet still shy away, for I have yet to find the perfect set. My plan this weekend is to hit Top Shop. I suggest you do the same . . .
GO
If frat bros and overpriced drinks are your thing, then head over to The Frying Pan for a night you'll never forget. If they aren't you should still go, because getting tipsy on the Hudson River whether its during the sunny afternoon or the sunsetting evening, is always a good idea. I recommend the Light and Breezy (ginger beer and rum). Don't be afraid of the long line because they let people in through waves. Also, tell the bouncer when you're trying to get onto the top top deck, that you're crew is up there and you're meeting them. That way you can sneak up and scope a table for yourself!
